This OOP 2 LP set from Columbia is the best of all Nyiregyhazi recorded work. A shame it is not available. In today's world Liszt is sorely underrated and certainly could be voted "artist deserving of more recognition" sad is that ? Nyiregyhazi certainly has inspired a wide range of critical response....the recent "Lost Genius" is a marvel to appear in a world where it seems the statement ... "Classical music ?...nobody cares !" is not without merit....

Novaes available recordings are sadly limited considering her recording history. She is among the the best of the "Romantic" interpreters. Her Schumann and Chopin are exquisite . Here is a Turnabout recording long out of print. It is a vinyl LP transfered to CDR using Pro Tools. It contains Carnaval, Scenes From Childhood, and Papillons. They are among the finest of all time.
